Five horses balance in an impossible stack — one climbing gleefully atop the next — against a wide, open sky. "Pyramid Scheme" takes the discipline of circus acrobatics and hands it to a herd of horses, equal parts playful and precise.
The composition builds like an actual pyramid: a broad, sturdy base of horses at the bottom, narrowing upward to a single figure balanced triumphantly at the peak, arms raised. It's a scene that shouldn't quite work — physically or logically — and that's exactly its charm. Day's color palette stays warm and sun-bleached, chestnut and cream against a soft blue sky, keeping the mood light even as the stunt itself borders on the absurd.
This piece is offered as a fine art print, making Day's original composition accessible in a more approachable format — ideal for collectors who love the imagery and want it in their space without the investment of an original painting.
A playful, conversation-starting addition to a kitchen, hallway, or any wall that could use a little joy.
